The company I work for hired a bunch of security guards to roam the floors we are on. They stand outside my room and warn me when i leave my door open to run next door to look for E. Then one day my friend who stalks the guards tells me the log sheet they hold with them all the time actually records all the visits from random people into different rooms – cue ORGY. eg. Room 2219 – 1 guy 3 girls.

Well I didn’t quite believe him, until yesterday – when I went to my friend’s room on the 25th floor to get coke, the security muttered into his mike, “Girl from 23″. OK, CREEPY.

I’m gonna take pictures of him and post them on facebook.

I have no space on my 40gig laptop.

I have no space in my 4 gig camera.

I have no space in my 1 gig phone.

I have no space on my 200 photo limit flickr.

My 4 day old work inbox has to date– 163 mails.

Used up a boxful of 650mb CDs for backing up arrested development videos, old vids of kumon kids..

What in the world am I doing?

On to greater things, I’m a difficult person to figure out. Even for myself (which is ridiculous), so the only way I can tell that I have a true fondness for something is through my dreams and how I feel after I wake up.

A colleague asked, “which city would you consider your favourite city and that you definitely have to live in one day?”

Couldn’t think of anything on the spot.

Then last night came and I had this AWESOME dream of Chicago, and how excited I was to go get jamba juice cause its fall in the US and I wouldn’t be too cold for juice; unlike the time I went which was zero degrees and smoothies weren’t exactly the beverage of choice.

So I’ve decided.. Chicago would be it.

Breakfast: Three fried egg sandwiches; cheese; tomatoes; lettuce; fried onions; mayonnaise; three chocolate-chip pancakes; five-egg omelette; three sugar-coated slices of French toast; bowl of grits; two cups of coffee

Lunch: Half-kilogramme (one pound) of enriched pasta; two large ham and cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise on white bread; energy drinks

Dinner: Half-kilogramme of pasta, with carbonara sauce; large pizza; energy drinks

SOUNDS AWESOME TO ME. HAM AND CHEESE. MMMMMM.

Sore Throat

I write this with a heavy heart, the last friday of my grand summer holiday. The last summer holiday of my life until I decide to stop working and further my studies. OR execute my “get a baby just so I can get maternity leave and go overseas”. Or decide to suddenly pool all the 25 days of annual leave together and escape. Till then, I have no more summer holidays.

And that is TRAGIC. like gymnasts falling off their uneven bars tragic.

But that is also life, and that is what being an adult is about. Making money so you don’t have to live off your parents anymore. So your kids can get plastic surgery presents on their 21st birthdays. So they can go to college, so I can go get more college, so I can travel around the world. So I can go to dubai and get giddy on building that spins. Everyone resents it, but they do it anyway. For all the things that don’t require money… there are infinitely more things that do.

Like eating ramen. And that’s kinda important.

Ice cream. Even more important.

Going on the BIGGEST DAMN ROLLERCOASTER IN THE WORLD. THATS SUPER IMPORTANT
